by admin477351

The Netherlands is set to experience a spell of hot and sunny weather through Friday, with inland regions expected to see temperatures soar above 30°C. However, this warm spell is likely to be interrupted by the development of thunderstorms later in the day. Thursday is anticipated to bring widespread sunshine, with temperatures reaching as high as 27°C. The heat is expected to intensify on Friday, with inland areas experiencing highs between 30°C and 33°C, while coastal areas will remain cooler due to a westward sea breeze.

Weather forecasters have issued a yellow weather warning for Friday afternoon, particularly for the provinces of Noord-Brabant, Gelderland, and Limburg, starting from 5 p.m. This warning comes as thunderstorms are predicted to move into the southern part of the country, bringing with them the potential for heavy rain, hail, and strong wind gusts.

Despite the anticipated storms on Friday, Saturday is expected to remain warm and summery for inland regions, with temperatures ranging from 25°C to 28°C. However, those heading to the beaches and coastal areas might experience cooler conditions, as the influence of the sea breeze continues.

The weather outlook for Sunday suggests an increase in cloud cover, with the possibility of showers over the weekend. As the new week begins, conditions are expected to become more unsettled, with a higher likelihood of rain and showers as the week progresses. Correspondingly, temperatures are forecast to decrease, with average daytime highs expected to fall below 20°C.
