by admin477351

Quantoz Payments B.V. has unveiled its innovative Embedded Payment Services, a modular API-driven platform designed to integrate regulated digital money solutions into the products of fintech companies, digital platforms, and payment service providers. This platform enables the inclusion of accounts, wallets, payment processing, and compliance features effortlessly. Potje, a Dutch savings app that enables collective saving for shared goals among friends, families, and colleagues, is the first to implement this service.

The newly launched service by Quantoz Payments represents an extension of their existing offerings, moving beyond regulated e-money tokens to provide APIs and infrastructure aimed at streamlining the development of payment and settlement solutions across Europe. This platform is engineered to allow businesses to select and integrate specific payment components, thus minimizing the challenges linked with licensing, compliance, safeguarding, and operational infrastructure.

Built on blockchain-native technology, Quantoz’s Embedded Payment Services are modular, allowing partners to scale and customize different components based on their specific needs. The platform encompasses several features, including accounts and digital wallets, inbound and outbound payment processing, Pay by Bank functionality, and comprehensive fraud, risk, and compliance measures. Potje’s collaboration with Quantoz during the platform’s development has led to its status as the first live partner to benefit from these services.

Potje users gain from having their funds securely managed by Quantoz Payments under the Dutch Central Bank’s regulation. The partnership facilitates secure fund addition via a Europe-wide Pay by Bank service, with instant payout processing and flexible withdrawal options. Potje CEO Bastiaan Reurink emphasized the partnership’s role in enhancing the ease and safety of group saving, with faster fund top-ups and immediate payouts aligning with the company’s ambition to become the preferred group money account across Europe.

Arjen van Klaarbergen, Chief Legal Officer at Quantoz Payments, highlighted that their new service provides fintechs and platforms with a regulated digital-money infrastructure, eliminating the need to develop their own compliance, safeguarding, and payment operations. Operating under its established regulatory framework, Quantoz Payments is licensed as an Electronic Money Institution (EMI) in the Netherlands, complying with European legal standards for fund safeguarding. The Embedded Payment Services are accessible to fintechs, platforms, and payment service providers within the European Economic Area (EEA).
